Chicago, IL - [July 1, 2025] – Chicago’s summer is set to come alive with the vibrant rhythms and rich traditions of Colombia as it hosts the 11th Annual Gran Festival Colombiano. Scheduled from July 18th to July 20th 2025, at the beautiful Humboldt Park on the Northwest Side, this landmark event coincides with Colombian Independence Day on July 20th, promising an unforgettable experience for attendees of all ages and backgrounds.
As the largest and best Colombian festival in the United States, the Gran Festival Colombiano (GFC) invites participants to immerse themselves in the diverse and dynamic culture of Colombia through a myriad of activities, performances, and culinary delights.

The lineup for the 11th edition of the festival boasts an impressive array of renowned artists and performers, promising unforgettable moments for attendees. Highlights include electrifying performances by Diego Gale and his Grupo Gale, 2x Grammy Winner Tony and Mimy Succar, Elder Dayan Diaz with accordian player Lucas Dangond, Mr. Black, Luis Figueroa, Hernan Gomez, Sol de April and GFC International Orquesta featuring Pibo Marquez, Prodigio Claudio. From iconic salsa rhythms to traditional folk tunes, the festival's musical offerings cater to a diverse audience and reflect the rich tapestry of Colombian music along Latin American flavors from Peru, Puerto Rico and Venezula.

In addition to live performances, the festival will feature art exhibitions, dance workshops, culinary demonstrations, and a marketplace offering a variety of Colombian crafts and goods. Attendees can indulge in authentic Colombian cuisine, learn traditional dances and participate in interactive activities that showcase the nation's rich heritage.

Join the GFC’s spectacle of color and sound with the Grand Parade which snakes through the audience in full Carnaval cosutmes lead by the Congo Grande de Chicago and Raices De Mi Tierra Folk Dance Troupe.

The festival is produced by Ortega Brothers LLC. with the support of community partners, including the International Conservatory of Latinx Culture (ICLC). A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit the CPD Sports Teams and ICLC Cultural Preservation Fund, contributing to the advancement of education and cultural preservation initiatives.
