Also known as Jorgito Celedón, he is one of the great exponents of Colombian music. His hits have gone around the world through his powerful voice and each of his compositions.


He was born in Villanueva, Guajira, and has dedicated his career to exalting Colombian musical culture, which has led him to win five Latin Grammy Awards for best cumbia/vallenato album.

Within his artistic journey, Jorgito has also dedicated time to his Foundation, which is named after one of his greatest musical hits – 'Ay Hombe'; non-profit entity, dedicated to helping the most needy children's population. Foundation that has the support of the Usme Hospital and the United Nations and that, in the future, seeks to improve the quality of life of boys and girls throughout the country.

Together with his teammate, accordion player Sergio Luis Rodríguez, he continues working to rescue Colombian folklore through the different rhythms that have led him to build a new musical era and that undoubtedly make him one of the greatest exponents of Colombian folklore.

Among his greatest hits are 'Ay Hombe', 'Parranda en el Cafetal', 'Juepa je', 'Sin Perdón' and 'La Invitación', which is an example of the great talent and love for his country that this singer-songwriter feels. Colombian.
