CHRISTIAN ALICEA
Christian Alicea, one of the new promises of Puerto Rico, has just published Yo, his first album that is now available on all digital platforms, in which he encapsulates his essence of a musical family inherited by the tropical band of his father and brother . In this work the young musician navigates different genres.
The debut album includes the hits “Cobarde,” “Que Rica,” with DJ Buddha “Vuelve” and the most recent “Sube Tela Remix” by Christian Alicea alongside Rafa Pabön and Tonny Tun Tun, as well as collaborations with DJ Nelson, “ Se le Nota”, Nacho & Maffio, “ Quiero un Trago” and El Pepo Show, “Fieston”, J. Alvarez, “Cobarde Remix”. In this work the musician shows his versatility by mixing salsa, bachata and even R&B.

One of the great bets of the album, the song "Aroma", written by D-One and Alicea, is based on the feeling of longing for someone you have loved and lost. The lyrics of the song come to life in a way that can only be understood after watching the music video, in which the audience witnesses beautiful memories shared between a couple, only to discover at the end that one of them has passed away.

Since appearing on the music scene, two of his songs, "Cobarde" and "Vuelve", entered the Top 20 for 23 consecutive weeks on Billboard's Tropical Airplay chart in the US market, while also reaching #1 on several times in countries such as the Dominican Republic and Colombia.
